Documentation

Many of our customers require specific documentation to meet the regulatory needs of the countries they are shipping to and from. Unifreight provides a wide range of documentation from Certificates of Origin, to complicated Documentation requiring consulate/embassy certification to even a simple packing list.

Letter of Credit Negotiation
We are one of the leading forwarders in negotiating Letters of Credit. Unifreight will review your letters of credit and provide feedback through suggested amendments to ensure the letter of credit can be handled in a timely manner. Unifreight will prepare and submit required documents, as well as negotiate with the financial institutions on the behalf of the client. Unifreight will follow up on payment by the bank to ensure the customer receives their money as quickly as possible.

Marine Insurance Coverage
Unifreight offers insurance coverage for all your shipments at very competitive market rates. We can also arrange for surveys if required.

Customs Formalities
Although Unifreight is not a customs broker, we can assist and look after your customs clearance needs in Canada and overseas through our network of agents.
